Aulone Non-Rotating Wire Ropes have a low tendency to spin or rotate under stress. These wire ropes have a unique construction in that the outer layer is twisted in the opposite way as the inner layers to offset torsional pressures caused by multi-layers of strands. All wire ropes are made up of at least two layers of strands to provide resistance to spin and rotation. In general, the more layers a rotation resistant wire rope has, the greater its resistance.
WIRE ROPE 18X7 Is a superior rotation-resistant hoist rope. The in-house torque/turn machine confirmed the good rotation resistance.
The 18*7 type of multilayer non rotating wire rope is used in port lifting, small vehicle cranes, and mine shaft hoisting steel wire rope. The wire rope is built in the Valin style. The inner and outer twisting moments of the inner and outer layers use the inner and outer rotation torque to give the wire rope micro non-rotation features, thus we may say 18*7. The wire rope is particularly well suited to single rope lifting. Because the typical point contact and wire contact wire rope is a single layer twisting system, the force lifting load is frequently increased.
The class 18*7 non-rotating wire rope is separated into two types of core and steel core. The 18*7+FC core and 18*7+IWS steel core categories are frequently labeled. In many instances, we use the abbreviation 19*7 to refer to 18*7+IWS. When making wire rope, 19*7 serves as a very effective supporting role for the rope strands. During the load stage, it can effectively share a portion of the load and withstand the benefits of 19*7 due to its resistance to high temperature and extrusion. The 18*7+FC rope strengthens the wire rope's bending and softening characteristics while also having a strong oil storage capacity and good lubrication properties.
Specifications and special features: Utilize the oil strands technology. Outstanding anti-rotation performance. Outstanding wear resistance.
COMPACT WIRE ROPE 19X7 Aulone is a large and well-known manufacturer of this rope. The company offers competitive pricing as well as the quickest delivery.
Refers to a typical rope that has gone through a unique treatment. In order to compress the rope, it is either passed through rollers or a die on a particular machine. During the production process, individual strands might be compressed. Inner strands, outer strands, or both can be compacted using this procedure. An ordinary inner core and compacted outer strands define a simple or conventional compacted rope. The surface is flattened and the contact area between all strands is increased by compacting.
Standard rope has round strands, however during the compacting process, the wires and strands flatten down. reducing the diameter of the rope to make it smoother.
When compared to a conventional rope, a compressed rope offers various advantages. This results from the unique compacting process which decreased the rope's vacancies. As a result, the cross sectional metallic area is increased, giving the rope a stronger breaking force factor.
A rope's diameter is reduced while its strength is increased by compacting it.
Since the wires and strands are flatter they have more contact area with neighbouring wires / strands. Less friction occurs between them. This is highly beneficial to the wear resistance of the rope. Both internally and externally and also to ancillary equipment. The ability of a compacted cable to spool is greatly enhanced. By winding this rope around a drum, any abrasive wear that may otherwise occur between the layers of rope is minimized. Compacted ropes also have the excellent quality of crush resistance, drum winding is also easier simultaneously.
More Advantages & Features Another significant advantage of employing a compacted rope is its resistance to bend fatigue.Withstanding much more repetitive bending when lifting fluctuating or constant weights. The flattened & compressed strands significantly reduce wire friction and wear. This happens when bending over sheaves or in a reeving system which increases the rate of fatigue. Other advantages include being smoother, which makes them easier to handle and less damaging to the hands. They are more shock-resistant and less constructional stretch. Compacted ropes have a much lower occurrence of wire breakages. because of low friction and abrasion between strands benefits. thanks to lasting up to twice the life of a standard rope, they are very cost-effective.
These ropes offer some corrosion resistance properties since the strands are squeezed closely. They can minimize the entry of other dangerous chemicals between the wires and resist the entry of dirt. They are easier to clean and inspect too.
Compacted Wire Rope Usage: Compacted rope can be used for most types of crane ropes and is frequently suggested due to its great qualities, as previously described. We provide the 6X36 compacted rope and the 8X26 compacted rope in a variety of diameters. They are suited for heavy lifting applications and unique activities that require high breaking force and resistance to bend fatigue. Standard rope does not typically provide this kind of resistance.
Typical uses include pillar deck rope, off-shore crane rope, deck crane rope, whip hoist rope, tower cranes, mobile cranes, container cranes , hoist ropes, aesthetic purposes and more. ROTATION RESISTANT WIRE ROPE refers to a network of steel ropes that reduces the tendency to spin or rotate under load. These wire ropes have a unique design in that the outer layer is twisted in the opposite direction as the inner layers to counteract torsional forces generated by multi-layers of strands.
All wire ropes are made of at least two layers of strands to provide the resistance against spin and rotation. A rotation-resistant wire rope will typically boast greater resistance the more layers it has. Two-layer ropes, for instance, are significantly simpler to spin and rotate than three-layer ones. Meanwhile, a 2-layer rope can only develop between 55% and 75% of its breaking strength when one end is allowed to rotate freely, as opposed to 95% to 100% for 3-layer ropes.
Our company offers three types of rotation resistant wire ropes to meet your specific requirements:
Typically, 2-layer spin and rotation resistant wire ropes can suit your low and medium rotation resistance requirements.
The 3-layer rope with more outer strands may distribute more radial pressure onto the inner layers and is suited for larger mobiles like all tower cranes.
Application: Serving as single part lines. Whip the ropes. Ropes for deck cranes. Ropes for offshore cranes. Ropes for pillar cranes,
Detail: Surface: bright or galvanized finish. Lay style: regular or lang lay as your requirements. Available with plastic impregnated. Outer strands: 5 to 20 strands.
Note: Wire ropes with 8 to 10 strands and 2-layer structures without reversely twisted interior strands resemble rotation resistant wire ropes but are not the same. Rotation resistant wire ropes are regarded less stable and must be handled and placed with extreme caution. They must be taken to avoid heavy loads on sheaves with narrow diameters. To avoid lay disruptions of the outside strands, ensure that the rope ends are tightly seizes, welded, or brazed.
