Structural Ropes from Aulone Innovative, sophisticated and ready to install Spiral strand cables and full locked coil rope & assemblies are manufactured in our own factory. This covers the whole process including stranding, pre-stretching, marking and socketing. Handling customized product solutions is a challenge we tackle on a daily basis. In all cases rope assemblies arrive on site ready for installation.
Structural Wire Ropes & Steel Cables Aulone offers a comprehensive range of precision-engineered structural wire ropes, steel cables, and rod systems. The most demanding architectural applications can be implemented aesthetically and economically with the various systems from Aulone – whether in the construction of modern buildings, the renovation of old buildings, or the upgrading of existing structures.
Spiral Strand Ropes The ropes are build up with independent layers of helically arranged wires. The spiral strand ropes are exclusively made with round wires. Open Spiral Strand Cables GALFAN Our open spiral strands with GALFAN coating allow the combination of cable flexibility with fatigue resistance. Combined with the fittings, the cables are used in bridges, as part of fa?ades or for truss systems.
Advantages Technically approved cable systems Preassembled systems for easy installation Sensible member sizing for optimum performance High force resistance achieved with small cross-sections Simple configuration
Spiral strand ropes are built with independent layers of helically arrnaged wires and exculisvely made using only round wires Avaliable in 1X19 1X37,1X61,1X91 &1X127 making these ropes ideal for structural appllications
Full Locked Coil Ropes (FLC) The full locked coil ropes also have layers with z-shaped wires. Ropes with end connections are referred to as rope assemblies. Due to their larger nominal cable diameters and the resulting higher limited tensile force ranges, fully locked cables are frequently used as suspension and tensioning cables in bridge constructions. A large number of Spelter Sockets and accessories allow for a wide range of applications, even under dynamic stresses.
