Safety requirements for steel wire rope slings and wire ropes
1. Safety requirements for steel wire rope slings and wire ropes
(1) Before using the newly purchased slings, check the certificate of conformity, and try lifting to confirm safety.
(2) The horizontal included angle of the sling should be greater than 45°.
(3) Suitable slings must be selected according to the weight, volume and shape of the hanging objects during operation.
(4) When using the snap ring, it is strictly forbidden to force the snap ring laterally, and it is necessary to check whether the closing pin is tightened before lifting. Cracked or deformed snap rings must not be used. It is strictly forbidden to repair the snap ring by welding repair method.
(5) It is strictly forbidden to repair welding and punch holes on the hook. The surface of the hook must be smooth and free of cracks. It is strictly forbidden to use hooks whose dangerous section wear reaches 10% of the original size, the hook opening is 15% larger than the original size, the torsional deformation exceeds 10%, and the dangerous section or neck produces plastic deformation. When the hook bushing is worn to 50% of its original size, the bushing should be scrapped. When the hook mandrel is worn up to 5% of the original size, the mandrel should be scrapped.
(6) 6×37 steel wire rope should be used for braided wire rope rigging. The length of the braided insert shall not be less than 20 times the diameter of the wire rope, and shall not be less than 300mm. The strength of the braided wire rope should be calculated according to 70% of the strength of the original wire rope.
(7) Any wire rope under one of the following conditions shall not be used continuously:
7.1 The diameter of the steel wire rope is reduced by 7% to 10%.
7.2 The number of broken wires in one pitch exceeds 10% of the total number of wires.
7.3 There are phenomena such as twisting and twisting of dead knots, dead bends, flattening, obvious loose strands, wavy shapes, flying of steel wires, extrusion of rope cores, and broken strands.
7.4 The degree of wear or corrosion of the steel wire on the surface of the steel wire rope is more than 40% of the diameter of the surface steel wire, or after the steel wire rope is corroded, the surface hemp marks are clearly visible, and the whole steel wire rope is obviously hardened.
(8) The safety factor of steel wire ropes, lassoes, etc. shall not be less than 8-10. The position of the hoisting point shall be kept accurate, the hoisting rope shall not be offset, and the hanging objects shall be balanced. New lifting tools and slings shall be inspected according to the instructions. It can be officially used after trial lifting. Overweight and hanging equipment that will not be used for a long time must be inspected and trial-hoisted, and can be used after confirming safety.
2. Operator safety requirements
(1) Crane workers must undergo special safety technical training, pass the examination and hold a certificate. Work after drinking is strictly prohibited.
(2) The hoisting area must be determined when the wheeled or crawler crane is operating, and warning signs must be set up.
(3) In severe weather such as heavy rain, heavy snow, heavy fog, and wind power level 6 or above (including level 6), open-air lifting operations must be stopped. It is strictly forbidden to work under or on one side of live high-voltage lines.
(4) The hoisting workers should be healthy, the vision in both eyes should not be lower than 1.0, and there should be no color blindness, hearing impairment, hypertension, heart disease, epilepsy, dizziness, sudden fainting and other diseases and physical defects that affect the lifting and hoisting operation. .
(5) The working environment, slings and protective equipment must be checked before operation. There are no idle personnel in the hoisting area, and obstacles have been removed. The sling is flawless, the binding is correct and firm, and the sling is not connected to other objects. Work only after confirming safety.
(6) Safety technical disclosures must be carried out during operation, and the unified command must be followed.
(7) When using a crane, the position of the lifting point must be correctly selected, the rigging must be worn reasonably, and the test hoisting must be carried out. Except for the commander and hooking personnel, other personnel are strictly prohibited from entering the hoisting operation area.
(8) When two cranes are used to lift large components, the performance of the cranes should be consistent, and the load of the single machine should be reasonably distributed, and should not exceed 80% of the rated load. Operation must be unified command, consistent action.
(9) When working in the vertical or horizontal direction of the high-voltage line, the minimum safety distance listed in the table below must be maintained. The minimum safe distance between the crane and the overhead transmission wire The voltage of the transmission wire is below 1KV 1-15KV20-40KV60-110KV220KV.
